Meet Our Team

The Remaining Whole Program

Meet the team
who will hold you
through this.

Remaining Whole was built on the belief that postpartum recovery requires more than information — it requires relationship. The three women behind this program bring together clinical expertise, movement knowledge, and nutritional support into one coordinated team, united by a shared commitment to the whole woman, not just the new mother.

What makes this team different is not just what each member brings individually — it is how they work together. Your therapy provider, your movement specialist, and your nutrition support are not operating in silos. They communicate, they collaborate, and they hold a shared picture of your wellbeing across all three dimensions of the program. When something shifts in one area, the whole team knows. That coordination is rare in postpartum care, and it matters.

Each member of the Remaining Whole team was chosen not only for her clinical and professional expertise, but for the warmth, attunement, and genuine investment in women's wellbeing that she brings to her work. You will feel that from the first session.

Three specialists. One shared purpose.

[Your Name]

Licensed Clinical
Social Worker

LCSW-C · Perinatal Mental Health · EMDR · Trauma

As the founder of Mai Wellness and the clinical lead of Remaining Whole, [Your Name] brings specialized training in perinatal mental health, trauma, and women's mental health to every session. Her approach is warm, direct, and deeply attuned — shaped by her conviction that new mothers deserve to be seen as whole people, not just patients or caregivers.

She leads both individual therapy sessions and the group component of the program, holding the clinical thread that runs through the entire twelve weeks. Her work is informed by EMDR, somatic approaches, parts work, and a genuine belief that the postpartum period, however difficult, holds the possibility of profound growth and self-understanding.

Evita

Certified Perinatal
Personal Trainer

Certified Personal Trainer · Perinatal Specialization

Evita brings expertise in postpartum movement and body restoration to the Remaining Whole team. Her sessions are designed specifically for where your body is right now — not where it was before pregnancy, and not where you feel it should be. She meets you there, without judgment, with knowledge and care.

Her approach to movement is restorative rather than performative. In the context of Remaining Whole, movement is not about bouncing back — it is about reconnecting with your body as it is today, rebuilding strength gently, and supporting the nervous system recovery that is central to the whole program.

Kathy Taylor

Registered Nurse,
Perinatal Nutrition

RN · Perinatal Nutrition Specialist

Kathy brings specialized knowledge in perinatal nutrition to the Remaining Whole team, providing monthly support grounded in the real demands of new motherhood. Her guidance is evidence-based, practical, and deeply compassionate — built around the understanding that feeding yourself well when you are also feeding a baby, running on little sleep, and navigating a major life transition is genuinely hard.

Her monthly visits are not about rules or restrictions. They are about nourishment in the fullest sense — helping you understand what your body needs right now and finding realistic, sustainable ways to meet those needs within the life you are actually living.

What we believe about postpartum care

Every member of the Remaining Whole team shares a set of foundational beliefs that shape how we work — individually and together.

We believe that new mothers are whole people who deserve whole-person care. We believe that struggle in the postpartum period is not weakness — it is a natural response to an extraordinary transition that our culture has systematically undersupported. We believe that recovery is not linear, that there is no timeline you are behind on, and that the goal is not to return to who you were before your baby arrived — but to find yourself, with intention and support, within who you are becoming.

We believe in collaboration over isolation, in small steps over grand gestures, and in the quiet, powerful work of showing up consistently for the women in our care. That is what Remaining Whole is — and it is what each of us brings to it.

"You don't need to earn care by struggling enough to deserve it. You need only to be a new mother — and you already are."

Remaining Whole launches August 1st with a maximum of six mothers per cohort. If you'd like to learn more or reserve your spot, reach out — we'd love to hear from you.
